Eco Cover Roof / Eco Cover Construction Method Case Study: Factory Roof (Oonami)

Leaving the old roofing materials as they are, a new roof was installed! A case study where the roof was completed in just 2 days.

We would like to introduce a case study of the cool metal roofing material eligible for carbon offset that our company handles, the "Eco Cover Roof / Eco Cover Method," which was installed on a factory roof. Removing old slate roofs that are likely to contain asbestos is difficult and requires significant costs. However, in such cases, using our method can reduce costs, construction time, and various risks. Additionally, the cover method minimizes the processes that would require stopping factory operations, which often occur during re-roofing or painting work. Excluding wiring work after the roof installation, this factory completed the construction in two days. Since the factory's operations did not need to be halted during the work, the client was very pleased. [Case Overview] ■ Installation Location: Factory Roof ■ Product Used: Oonami Gray ■ Construction Effect: A new roof was installed while leaving the old roofing material in place. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Thermo Roof Construction Case] New Installation for Private Residence

Heat exchange paint demonstrates heat insulation effects in colors other than white, as well as in dark colors close to black!

We would like to introduce a case study of the cool tile roof "Thermo Roof," which is eligible for carbon offset, installed in a newly built private residence. By using materials that do not easily increase in surface temperature for the roofing, we mitigate the heat transmitted from the roof to the indoors. Typical heat-reflective coatings work by literally reflecting sunlight to suppress the heat that enters indoors, which is why they often use white or light colors that reflect light. When measured at the same time with an outside temperature of 26°C, the typical tiles reached 61.4°C, while the Thermo Roof reached 50.4°C, resulting in a temperature difference of about 11°C. [Case Overview] ■ Installation Location: Newly built private residence ■ Product Used: Thermo Roof F, smoked gray ■ Installation Effect: A temperature difference of about 11°C was observed with tiles *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Case Study 1 of Renovation of Slate Warehouse Roof using the SOSEI Method

Case study of slate warehouse roof renovation using thermal insulation coating waterproofing.

【Overview of Renovation Case】 Project Name: Renovation of Slate Roof at Warehouse in a Certain Location Location: Izumi-Otsu City, Osaka Prefecture Construction Period: April 2019 Area: Two Gable Roofs (Large Wave Slate) Construction Area: 1,856m2 【Background of Construction Method Adoption】 Due to the wind force of Typhoon No. 21 that struck in 2018, the large wave slate on the warehouse roof was cracked and scattered. The client, seeking early operation of the manufacturing line, considered repair techniques and concluded that: - Roof damage due to typhoons was occurring frequently in various locations, causing delays in responses from repair contractors. - Although the adoption of a steel plate cover method was considered, it would significantly increase the load burden on the structural framework, and there was a risk of the roof being lifted by strong winds if another typhoon struck. → *For more details, please download the PDF.
